Princes Win, 5-2, at Nichols
Nichols got a decent performance from pitcher Carlos Canales, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bel Air Princes. Bel Air won the The Pond contest, 5-2. Canales threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Josh Melton was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. The triumph makes Bel Air 15-28.

Bel Air took a 3-2 lead on Jordan Alfonso's 2nd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Alfonso hit in the top of the seventh, left Nichols pitcher Carlos Canales visibly frustrated.

"It was a good effort all around," said Alfonso.
