Magicians Snatch Late Win
|
The Baltimore Magicians had to overcome a good performance from Charleston pitcher Cruz Castaneda to claim a 3-2 win at Baltimore Stadium. Castaneda went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. The win elevated the Magicians to 25-17.
Elijah Miller was the walk-off hero for Baltimore. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Magicians pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Charleston manager John Linttell.
