The St. Paul Saints locked up a win at Franklin Mountains Field, knocking off the Charleston Panthers, 5-4. On the mound for St. Paul was right-hander Chris Adger. He played a major role in the triumph. St. Paul currently is in 5th place in the TML HA Dick Williams Division at 18-29.

Bob Pinsent dealt the Panthers a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and St. Paul leading 4-0, Pinsent hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Saints manager Les Silvas. "This one was nice to get."
