The Quebec Armada could not turn a fine performance from designated hitter Travis Gaston into a win. Instead, the Pennsylvania Butterflies prevailed, 6-5. Gaston went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Cory Friedrich came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Pennsylvania currently is in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division at 22-24.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Butterflies shortstop Angus Bonscott hit a fastball from Matt Cross for a 2-run single. Just like that, Pennsylvania was up, 6-5.

"Fun game," said Bonscott, "even when the outcome was in doubt."
