Keenan Hits Two Dingers, Knights Win, 10-7
The Kingwood Knights topped the Nichols Gnats, 10-7, with youngster Adam Keenan playing a key role. Keenan went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Knights in the win. Kingwood goes to 19-25, Nichols to 12-31.

With Kingwood leading 5-0 in the top of the fourth, Keenan came up to bat against Nichols pitcher Troy Baxter. Keenan hit a curveball to left for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Knights on top, 9-0.

"We're trending in the wrong direction," said Nichols manager Mike Nevil.
