Victory Pushes Warriors Record to 27-16
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Winfield Warriors and the Nichols Gnats, Mike Suarez was the difference-maker. The Winfield right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. In 6 innings, Suarez surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Nichols has now lost 4 consecutive games.
