Lake Monsters Win, Large goes 4-for-4
|
Harold Large helped his team muscle past the Charleston Panthers, 7-5. In the game, the Okanagan designated hitter went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Okanagan reliever Bobby Aguilar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tony Luera took the loss. The Lake Monsters' win now puts them at 20-21.
Okanagan took a 7-5 lead on Andy Schaller's 7th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Schaller hit in the top of the ninth, left Charleston pitcher Cory Rebhahn shaking his head.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Schaller told reporters after the game.
