Good production from designated hitter Matt Lenser helped the Brisbane Bush Wackers topple the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 5-0. Lenser went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bush Wackers. The save was credited to Bob Williams, his 2nd. The Bush Wackers now own a record of 18-17.

Brisbane took a 5-0 lead on Lenser's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Alex Gurule in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Brisbane to the win.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Lenser told the Brisbane Daily News.
