Moose Jaw Rallies to 5-2 Win
|
Moose Jaw Warriors starter Jaylen Hester turned in an exceptional performance against the San Antonio River Bandits at Dr Pepper Stadium, resulting in a Moose Jaw win, 5-2. The winning pitcher was Hester, now 4-2. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 12. The third-place Warriors now have a win-loss record of 20-14.
John Reed came through with a big-time hit for Moose Jaw. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
Reed called the win "a collective effort."
