The Brownsville Bandits downed the Moose Jaw Warriors, 7-5, at Bandits Grove. Cliff Stretton led the way, going 3-for-4 for Brownsville. Brownsville reliever Steve Cox picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Jose Peralta was tagged with the loss. With the win, Brownsville upped its record to 21-16.

Harvey McFadyen went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Brownsville. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, McFadyen, who is tied for 4th in the RHA in total bases with 93, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Moose Jaw hurler Jose Peralta, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Bandits a 5-4 lead.
