The Brownsville Bandits got a superb performance from pitcher Alex Martinez, but the Baltimore Magicians still won the game, 10-9. Martinez threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives Baltimore a season record of 22-16.

Baltimore used the timely hitting of Charlie Long to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Magicians on top, 10-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Long.
