Leeney Leads Earthquakes to Win
With left fielder Junior Leeney leading the charge, the San Francisco Earthquakes defeated the Huntington Station Ramrods, 11-6, at Golden Gate Park. Leeney, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Earthquakes organization, was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Earthquakes now own a record of 29-18.

Early in the game, center fielder Mitchell Williams had a bases-clearing double for San Francisco. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Earthquakes on top, 4-1.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Huntington Station manager Paco Berroa.
