Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Williamsport Crosscutters got the win.

The Williamsport Crosscutters defeated the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 4-2, at Crosscutters Park. Williamsport center fielder Roberto Parra was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Even with the win, the Crosscutters have a dismal 12-23 record.

Parra came through with some timely hitting for Williamsport. With the score 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth and one down, Parra hit a 0-2 changeup for a run-scoring single. His 38th hit of the season made it 3-2, Williamsport.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Parra.
