Dankert Leads Knights to 8-2 Win Over Saints
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Kingwood Knights and St. Paul Saints.

Zane Dankert made an impact in the 8-2 Kingwood win over St. Paul. Dankert was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Knights have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 8th win in 30 games.

With Kingwood leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Dankert hit a 2-run single off St. Paul hurler Willie Sotelo. It was the 28th hit of the season for Dankert and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said St. Paul manager Daisuke Nishida.
