Pilots Walk Off with 2-1 Win
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Jacksonville Pilots and the Houghton Gremlins. Jacksonville won it, 2-1. Jacksonville starter Chris McEvoy was in command. At 29-16, the Pilots claim first place in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Cameron Mance was the walk-off hero for Jacksonville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pilots right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Every loss stings," said Houghton manager Dane Freeman. "This one is no exception."
