Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Memphis Blues got the win.
The Memphis Blues beat the Oconomowoc Five O's, 4-2. Memphis pitcher and Acapulco, Mexico, native Francisco Rodriguez led the way. Rodriguez, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs.
The Blues got a big at-bat from center fielder Francisco Robles. For the game, Robles was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Memphis a 4-2 lead.
