LeRette, Ridge Runners Too Much for Texans
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners cruised to a win over the Dallas Texans, 12-3, at Metroplex Park. Bryan LeRette led the way, going 3-for-4 for Eagle Rock. Willie Borrero was the winner. Over 7.1 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Today's win puts Eagle Rock at 27-25, while Dallas falls to 18-35.

Antonio Paiz had a big 2-run double for the Ridge Runners in the top of the second inning. With Eagle Rock leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jonathan McMenamin and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ridge Runners ahead, 3-0.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Paiz told the Eagle Rock Today.
