Blues Rally to Tally 5-3 Win

The Memphis Blues beat the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 5-3, at Elks Stadium. Greg Stone went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks. He scored 2 times. The 20-year old second baseman was a menace to Okanagan all day. Bobby Gottlieb collected his 2nd save. The loss has the Lake Monsters at 15-12.
It could have been a different outcome for Memphis, had it not been for Randy Haines, the 21-year old left fielder . Haines contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Memphis up, 2-1.
