Staples goes 4-for-4 to Power Bison Offense
A 3-RBI performance from Devin Staples helped the Buffalo Bison beat the El Paso Mavericks, 10-4. Buffalo starter Jonathan Solano was credited with the win after throwing 98 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-3. At 22-22, the Bison find themselves in 6th place in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Buffalo used a well-timed hit by Jonathan Schimmel to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Bison ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm proud to wear a Buffalo jersey," Schimmel told the Buffalo Observer. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
