Spurr hits 2 home runs in Civics Win
Ottawa right fielder Sam Spurr was a significant contributor in his team's 8-6 triumph over the St. Paul Saints. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Civics. Greg Pond earned save number 6. The Saints, at 9-22, have stumbled out of the gate.

In the top of the seventh, the Civics grabbed the lead when Spurr hit his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Alex Elizalde made it 7-4, Ottawa.

"I like the roll we're on," said Ottawa manager Eduardo Rosário.
