The Chippewa River Chiefs beat the San Angelo Mustangs, 12-4, at The Reservation. Enrique Cabrera, who is tied for 3rd in the TA with a 1.254 OPS, starred for Chippewa. He went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Picking up the save was Michael Melis, his 1st. The win puts Chippewa at 16-10.

Nathan Snook, who is tied for 10th in the TA in RBI with 20, took San Angelo hurler Alex Chinchilla deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the River Chiefs on top, 2-1. In all, Snook had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
