Lake Monsters Pick Up 10-4 Win Against Ocala
The Okanagan Lake Monsters defeated the Ocala Knights, 10-4, at Elks Stadium. Okanagan right fielder John Whitney had a superb performance. He was 2-3 with 2 singles, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs. Jonathan Guerrero earned the save for Okanagan, his 1st of the year. Okanagan now has a record of 17-13.

Okanagan second baseman Wilbert Howse contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Lake Monsters ahead, 3-2.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Whitney told the Okanagan Citizen. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
