River Bandits Spill Thunder, 7-4

San Antonio took on Elizabeth Town in front of a lively crowd.
San Antonio registered a win at Dr Pepper Stadium by beating the Elizabeth Town Thunder, 7-4. Pitcher Drew Young was one reason why the River Bandits triumphed. Young yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 1-2.
Evan Hansen had a big grand slam home run for the River Bandits in the bottom of the fourth inning. With San Antonio leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a sinker from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Omar Morales and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the River Bandits on top, 6-0.
"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Young.
The loss drops Elizabeth Town to 4-19.
