Okanagan Upended by Charleston, 2-1
|
Dante Vidrio pitched well, but the Okanagan Lake Monsters still fell short, losing, 2-1, to the Charleston Panthers at Franklin Mountains Field. Gene Aikman earned the save for Charleston, his 3rd. The Panthers, with only their 6th win in 21 games, could be the worst team in the league.
Julio Munoz helped out the Charleston cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman did the little things right to help the team.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Okanagan manager Landy Lu said, following the tough loss.
