The Eugene Emeralds powered past the San Antonio River Bandits, 17-6, at Dr Pepper Stadium. Casey Dawson provided some of the pop. He belted 3 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 7. The win takes Eugene to 7-10.

Eugene catcher David Figueras helped the Emeralds go up, 6-4, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Figueras hit a 2-run single off San Antonio pitcher Miguel Betancourt.

"We came out aggressive," said Emeralds manager . "We came out swinging the bats."
