The Buffalo Bison locked up a win at The Corral, knocking off the El Paso Mavericks, 11-3. On the mound for Buffalo was right-hander Felix Reina Jr.. He played a major role in the triumph. The Bison go to 25-18, putting them first in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Danny Pellot provided a timely hit. The Buffalo center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bison on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"I thought Felix threw the ball well across the board," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
