Bowen Swings Knights to 12-3 Win
The Kingwood Knights easily defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 12-3, at Stable Park, with left fielder Kyler Bowen a main contributor to the win. He went 1-1 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Kingwood. Ricky Morales earned the win, while 19-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Duff took the loss for San Angelo. With the win, Kingwood elevates its record to 10-9.

Kingwood center fielder Ricardo Gonzales helped the Knights go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Gonzales hit a run-scoring single off San Angelo pitcher Alejandro Silva.

"Different night, same tune, unfortunately," said losing manager Luis López.
