Okanagan Beats Oconomowoc in Extra Innings
The Okanagan Lake Monsters had to overcome a big game from Oconomowoc right fielder Oscar Dalton to leave Elks Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 11 innings. Dalton was 3-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2. The win went to Jorge Alegria in relief, making him now 1-2. Andres de Jesus took the loss for Oconomowoc. The Five O's fall to 6-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2063 season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Brad Gadaleta in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 18-year old right-handed pitcher Andres de Jesus to win the game for Okanagan. The home crowd went nuts.

"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Gadaleta said.
