Bush Wackers Come Up Short at Bel Air
|
Bel Air beat Brisbane on the strength of starter Oscar Carrillo's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Bill Campos earned the save for Bel Air, his 6th. Bel Air, now 10-6, has played well in the early going.
With Bel Air trailing 3-2 and a runner on 2nd, the Princes struck gold when right fielder Jamari Brown turned a 1-0 slider from Bush Wackers hurler Manny Rosario into his 4th home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Bel Air up, 4-3.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Brisbane manager Lester Burrow.
