The Hawaii Honu welcomed the Milwaukee Millers to an night game at The Mandalore Complex.

The Hawaii Honu defeated the Milwaukee Millers, 9-6, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Mandalore Complex. Roberto Salgado pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Tom Mitcham earned the save for Hawaii.

With Hawaii leading 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Salgado hit a fastball from Sergio Hernandez for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Honu ahead, 7-2.

"We took home the win," said Salgado. "What's not to like?"

The Honu move to 25-19 with the win, while the Millers drop to 29-16.
