Butterflies Score Late to Upend Ramrods, 5-3
|
Pennsylvania Butterflies starter Chris Collins found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Huntington Station Ramrods. Pennsylvania reliever Norm Anglin was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Billy Kusnier. Eric Reichel earned the save for Pennsylvania, his 2nd.
Spencer Beddall was 1-4 for Pennsylvania. The 29-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Billy Kusnier. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
"Chris was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes.
Huntington Station now is 1-4.
