Niagara Falls Keeps Spiraling Downward
|
The Niagara Falls Barrels were defeated, 4-0, by the Charleston Panthers at Horseshoe Park, even though Chris Marshall pitched well for Niagara Falls. The loss drops Niagara Falls to 2-10.
Charleston used a well-timed hit by Ben Gail to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Panthers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Niagara Falls manager Mike Bouffard, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
