Contreras went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the River Bandits. The win went to Ruben Castro in relief, making him now 1-0. Kaleb Gacoki took the loss for Brownsville. San Antonio sits at 6-5.
Jorge Arredondo aided the San Antonio cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.
