Luis Salgado pitched a gem to lead New Orleans to a 2-0 victory over the San Angelo Mustangs. New Orleans goes to 7-3 with the win.

Salgado, who leaned on his changeup, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 7 innings for the Jedi Knights. For the most part, San Angelo hitters were simply overmatched.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said San Angelo skipper Raul Criado, "and it cost us."
