Skidding Panthers Lose 6th Straight
The Oconomowoc Five O's did just enough to sneak past the Charleston Panthers, 7-6, at Franklin Mountains Field. Oconomowoc third baseman Jose Arredondo, in particular, had a standout performance. Ron Landerman wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. Oconomowoc goes to 7-1 with the win.

Arredondo had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 slider from Kenny Hoyles, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Five O's a 7-6 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Arredondo.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Charleston skipper John Linttell.
