The Okanagan Lake Monsters cruised to a win over the St. Paul Saints, 22-3, at Saints Ballpark. Roy Rudolph led the way, going 4-for-7 for Okanagan. Jonathan Mejia went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The right-hander struck out 5 and walked 5. With the win, he's now 1-0 this season. With their winning streak at 5, the Lake Monsters have raced to a strong start this season.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Carl Churchill had a game-changing hit. The Lake Monsters left fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Danny Chavez, making the score 5-3, Okanagan.

"This is playing in sync. Everything kind of fell into place," said winning manager Landy Lu.
