Multi-HR Game for Pinnell in 11-5 Win
|
Brian Pinnell had an impact in the 11-5 San Antonio win over West Virginia. The 24-year old center fielder went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a triple. He scored 4 runs and drove in 6. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the River Bandits hope to make a postseason run.
Early in the game, Pinnell had a run-scoring triple for San Antonio. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the River Bandits on top, 3-2.
"I was able to square up some pitches," said Pinnell.
