Houghton Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Houghton Gremlins finished off the Huntington Station Ramrods, 6-3, in 14 innings. A good share of the credit went to second baseman Adrian Clark. Clark went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Gremlins. The last-place Ramrods have lost 4 consecutive games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 14th. With one out, Clark hit a sinker from Bryan Young for a 3-run home run. The Gremlins, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This game will make a man of you," said Dane Freeman, the Houghton skipper, "if it doesn't kill you first."
