|
Tom Castro led Carmel to a win over Moose Jaw. The final score was 8-4. Castro collected 3 runs batted in, while going 2 for 3 at the plate. The designated hitter also scored 2 times. The Apples, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.
Carmel took the lead, 5-4, on Katsuharu Fujii's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Fujii hit in the bottom of the seventh, made Moose Jaw pitcher Roberto de Alba wince.
