NoBos Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dancin' Outlaws
|
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws home opener. Alan Tyree started for the home team against David Ruano for the Campo NoBos. The Dancin' Outlaws were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 6-1, Campo, in 10 innings. David Ruano, though, was impressive.
Joe Peckford delivered a big hit for Campo. The center fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the NoBos ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said West Virginia manager Guy de Kleijn.
