Pimentel Helps Beaumont Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Beaumont Drillers powered past the Carson City Mustang, 10-3, at Cowboys Stadium. Osvaldo Pimentel provided some of the pop. He went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Drillers raised their record to 74-65.

Third Baseman Stan Spencer made an impact for Beaumont, when he swatted a 3-run home run off Scott Horner in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Spencer was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Spencer, "and then get after it again."
