Drillers Lose to Rockets in Walk-Off
Kelowna picked up a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, bumping off the Beaumont Drillers, 6-4. Pitcher Preston Stenzel was a major reason the Rockets emerged victorious. Roberto de Alba, now 3-1, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 1. The Rockets improved their record to 70-92 with the win over Beaumont.

The decisive blow was delivered by Justin Davidson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Jacob Allen to win the game for Kelowna. The home crowd went nuts.

"This ballpark was lit," Davidson said.
