The Atlantic City Rollers handed the Sandy Springs Spartans a sound defeat, 13-3, at The Coliseum. Mike Klick was a main contributor to the win. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Atlantic City. With the win, the Rollers are 47-92.

Rich Ansorge had a big grand slam home run for the Rollers in the top of the fifth inning. With Atlantic City leading 5-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a curveball from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Tony Sanchez and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the Rollers on top, 9-2.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Klick after the game.
