The DeKalb Cornhuskers rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher Dan Boulter to a win, beating the Sandy Springs Spartans, 7-2, at The Corn Crib. After today's action, DeKalb sits at 79-82; Sandy Springs slips to 87-74.

The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from first baseman Alfredo Castro. For the game, Castro was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 18th home run of the season gave DeKalb a 2-0 lead.
