Led by Jayden Byrd, the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats downed the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 14-4. Byrd was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Beetlecats. This win makes it 6 in a row for Buzzard's Bay.

The Beetlecats got a big hit from first baseman Jason Sturgill. Facing Fraser Valley pitcher Jaiden Mitchell in the bottom of the eighth, Sturgill pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Beetlecats ahead, 14-3.

Buzzard's Bay manager Dorian Payne commended his team for "putting the hammer down."
