The Windsor Royals faced a tenacious opponent in Wauwatosa pitcher Danny Gregory, but still scratched out a win at Albert Park by a final score of 6-3 in 10 innings. Gregory went 8.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Scott Kossow got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2 innings. The Royals improved their record to 86-51 with the win over Wauwatosa.
One big at-bat came with the bases empty in the top of the tenth inning. Moises Mogrovejo hit a double off Wauwatosa pitcher Tom Cole. The Royals went on to win the game.
"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Wauwatosa manager Matunde Kabaila.
