The Clearwater Seagulls got a strong performance from pitcher Dave Perez, who stymied the Evanston offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Chapman Field. Perez picked up the win for Clearwater, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2.
