Bishops Earn Late Win
The Evanston Bishops downed the Carson City Mustang, 13-12, in 10 innings. Art Long led the way, going 4-for-6 for Evanston. Kirk Davis picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Damien Lamboglio suffered the loss. The Bishops are now 83-50.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Mustang allowed the Bishops to score the winning run.

"I like our moxie," said Bishops manager Demetrio Recchia.
