Alessio goes 3-for-4 in Cabo San Lucas Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Kansas City Tornadoes and Cabo San Lucas Toreros get after it.

Tim Alessio knocked in 5 runs to help Cabo San Lucas beat Kansas City, 8-5. Alessio produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Bobby Avila got the win, improving to 2-7. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 9 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 3. Victor Gonzalez earned the save for Cabo San Lucas.

With Cabo San Lucas leading 5-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Alessio came up to bat against Kansas City pitcher Ryan Davis. Alessio hit a slider to center for a bases-clearing double. His 12th double of the season put the Toreros on top, 8-3.

"Tim was ready to go. Big day for him," said Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani.

The Toreros, at 21-29, sit in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.
