Chargers Win in Extras
Terra Linda first baseman Fernando Vigil made his presence felt in the 8-7 Chargers triumph over the Fraser Valley Black Bears. Vigil was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Jordan Garner in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Benny Bishop took the loss. Chris Meter's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Don Tufts for a run-scoring single. It put Terra Linda in front, 8-7.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Meter told the Terra Linda Times.
